On November 24th Rock Werchter announced The Streets at their Festival. Ozzy and I are going!!

The Streets Amsterdam weekender 2022 (Cancelled again)

Last year The Streets were supposed to come to Amsterdam for a whole weekend. Unfortunately it got cancelled because of Corona. but it has been rescheduled to this weekend. So here we are.

Tom who helped us with the tickes is no longer working for Pollen. Luckily the support of Pollen is very helpful.

No gigs in 2020 or 2021 because of covid. I had a few Streets gigs booked for 2022, all of them got cancelled, but Mike is still DJing. Ozzy and I go to XOYO to see Mike. Now we’re going out for just a night out in London. Matthew will join us as well.

Was supposed to see the boys again. This time in Liverpool. I was going with Ozzy and Matthew. Mike helped us. I wanted to buy a ticket, but he said he would help me. I could support him next time. He is amazing!!

I was supposed to be in the UK already, because I was going to join Matthew yesterday to the Newcastle gig. And tomorrow I’ m supposed to be going to see them in Liverpool with Ozzy and Matthew.

I wasn’t sure if I would go to this one. I had Sheffield and Liverpool in my mind, and Mike would help me. Matthew is going to this one. He had a spare ticket left. I could use it, and don’t have to bother Mike again. I waited till the UK would allow us again.

Finally after more then 2 years I’m seeing the Streets again. I’m fully vaccinated since my birthday (July 24th) last year. I want my life back. Luckily the UK is open again. We don’t need extra tests anymore, no more quarantine needed.
