The Streets Lowlands festival 2019

I really really really want to go to Lowlands. Hopefully Mike or Tim can help me and Ozzy out. Tickets are very expensive, if you only want to see 1 band. And for Lowlands you can’t buy day tickets, only weekend tickets. I don’t want to go a whole weekend. I only want to go 1 hour.

I saw a message on Facebook from de Melkweg. Mike is coming to Amsterdam. He will do a DJ set. FINALLY! Last time he was here for a gig was 2008. 5 years ago, with the Streets. Ted will sort us out again. My boyfriend Mark, his friend Eric (it will be their first time they are going to see Mike) and the famous Master Ozzy will join me.

I took the nightbus to work. I had to work at Starbucks first, from 6am till 12.30pm. When I finished Ozzy was there to pick me up. (I gave him a coffee, easy when you work at Starbucks). We drove to my house, I got freshen up and changed. Off we go to Pukkelpop.

Yesterday I heard my grandma is very ill. The doctors give her a few months only.

Today my friend Ozzy & I woke up early to go to the airport. Our plane was supposed to leave at 9:05 but it all took the airport crew a bit longer so it was a little later. Thankfully the flight didn’t take too long.

I had the flight at 9.40 from Amsterdam, well it was 50 minutes delayed but finally at about 11 I arrived in Birmingham. Burke would pick me up.

The scary thing is, I have thought for months that I would arrive at 11, while on my boarding pass it said 10am. And in the end it was 11 anyway. When I told Burke, he wanted to know the winning numbers for the lottery haha

Ozzy and I woke up really early, my brother Paul picked us up from Bloemendaal and brought us to the airport. Bless him. He had to work there. We didn’t have the tickets yet, hope it will be OK at the festival with our order confirmation. Ted said it would ok.

I bought 2 tickets for Lowlands, one for myself and one for my friend Laura, my friend Ozzy couldn’t go, because he was on a holiday, a sailing holiday in Croatia…. what a terrible life he has…. 😉
