I asked Tim for help, but he told us that festivals are difficult this time.
June 9th
I asked Ozzy if there is another festival where we can go to? Like Germany?! We checked the dates and the Germany gigs were the best options but at the same time, not a very good option.
I really really really want to go to Lowlands. Hopefully Mike or Tim can help me and Ozzy out. Tickets are very expensive, if you only want to see 1 band. And for Lowlands you can’t buy day tickets, only weekend tickets. I don’t want to go a whole weekend. I only want to go 1 hour.
Last week I went to Scotland for the weekend with Mark but today I’m heading to London with Ozzy. Ozzy can’t be left out, I needed to go with him as well. So I go twice 🙂 (well 3, I also went to Amsterdam, but that was announced later).
October 8th and 9th 2017 we went away with Mark’s parents. My baby girl Roos gave her granddad a day out for his birthday in June. Roos suggested a zoo visit (well we did in her name). Since earlier this year we have 2 pandas in Ouwehands dierenpark, so Roos wanted to go there and asked to bring her mummy, daddy and nan as well. So granddad did. We stayed in Rhenen (where the zoo is) for 1 night in a hotel. On monday the 9th we went to the zoo. I think that me, my hubby, and my parents-in-law liked the pandas more then Roos did but she had a great time anyway.
I am going to the very last gig of The Streets at Big Reunion, the 2nd weekend. It will be my 35th Streets gig but the last one. I am not too sad, because I am very excited about whatever Mike is going to do next.
I woke up at about 7am, got the bus to the airport at 7.50. Arrived at the airport at 8.20. Got a Starbucks at the airport and at 8.45 my train left to Rotterdam. Ozzy would pick me up there. We are going to Paris.
It was a last minute add to their tour. They were replacing Q-tip. I found out last week on Sunday that they would be playing there. On Monday Ted arranged it for us. Thanks Ted! Again! We’ve been to this festival in 2008 as well.
I took the nightbus to work. I had to work at Starbucks first, from 6am till 12.30pm. When I finished Ozzy was there to pick me up. (I gave him a coffee, easy when you work at Starbucks). We drove to my house, I got freshen up and changed. Off we go to Pukkelpop.
At 5 am the alarm went of, very early but well worth it. Thanks to Mike we’re going to T in the park. He booked my flight and hotel. AND I’m on the guestlist.
