I woke up at Callum‘s place at 6 am, though my head was going to explode. I still had a headache. Still a migraine. 2 hours later when Laurence and Ozzy were awake, I finally felt better, probably cos I had a shower and I knew I was going to get some food.
We said goodbye to Callum‘s girlfriend Chelsea, poor girl had to work, and we got dressed and ready to leave to the Haymarket train station, Callum was still asleep. We left him a note. We wanted to take the bus, but it was raining, so we took a cab instead. We arrived pretty early, so we had scrambled eggs on toast first and then we got a train earlier. We arrived in Glasgow at about 12.30. Our room in the Thistle hotel was ready so we could check in. Only Ozzy‘s bed was still missing. Got placed later that day. We went to see what the swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room & sunbed looked like. We spend there a few hours. I felt a lot better. Finally my headache was gone.
Another short trip to LA…. This time, both of the boys were in our van today and Emma Jones. (She and I never wanted Rachel there). Miss Pope joined Rachel.
We heard on the After show last night that the boys were staying at the same hotel as we did. NICE! We didn’t see them tho…. anyway…. time to go to LA…. We arrived pretty early…. Rachel dropped Emma off and went to her own hotel/motel/hostel. We were staying in the Wilshire Plaza hotel on Wilshire Boulevard. We checked in. The guy from the reception lied to the ladies. He told them that they had the best room with the best view. They were looking at Downtown LA. I believe that Ozzy & I had a better room. We had a view at the Hollywood Hills.
Ted was staying in the same hotel in Solana beach as we were.
On Twitter, Mike wrote he was looking for The hotel. Rachel told him how to get there. We had breakfast, Emma, Emma & Rachel joined us, They didn’t have breakfast, but they were sitting next to us. During breakfast, Mike, Ted and Kristy showed up…. Good morning! Thought it was “Dinner with Skinner“, now we have “Breakfast with Skinner“ as well. Mike and I had a chat about the movies we had seen in the plane. We both agreed that “the Hangover” was very funny.
